2008 Recap
In 2008, I produced 27 videos, about half of which were promotional videos, while the other half consisted mostly of highlight reels and event videos. I rounded out the year by producing a narrative commercial for VitaMix blenders. I collaborated with other local filmmakers to edit two short films, and served as a crew member on eight local short films.
2009 Direction
I am anxious to continue producing high quality work in 2009. Working relationships fuel my ability to produce, and so I am excited to further develop my relationships with talented filmmakers and artists, as well as organizations that I serve. I will continue to produce promotional minded work in 2009, but wish complement that with more narrative storytelling short films and commercials.
Coming up later this year are two exciting projects to look forward to: 9x9 is a feature film directed by Evan Lieberman which I have been asked to serve as editor for (more info); and composer Kevin Krumenauer has invited me to produce film/video media for a theatrical presentation of a classical mass that is currently in development (more info).
In addition to continually producing work and supporting other filmmakers and artists, I will be returning to Cleveland State University full time this January. My goal is to spend the next two years in school to finish degrees in Film, Art History, and a certificate in Arts Management. I am excited to apply these disciplines in collaborative productions of excellent work for years to come!!
